The Mary Rose Museum Project

0

In 2012 a new museum for Henry VIIIʼs famous flagship the Mary Rose will be opened with a Foundation Stone Ceromony.

Project Synopsis

The new museum is being constructed around the ship – sitting on her cradle in a dry dock at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

The design of the exterior, interior and the displays has been a long and continuing process. Motivation has been commissioned by the Mary Rose Trust to film documentary coverage of the whole process. We have interviewed architects, engineers and designers and of course the staff at the existing museum.

Mary Rose Foundation Stone Ceremony

Most recently we were also asked to advise on and provide all the audio visual support for the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone, performed by Prince Harry.

A very big thank you for your exemplary work on the Foundation Stone ceremony. I am aware of how much hard work goes into such occasions to make the event the great success that it undoubtedly was. It was a highly professional handling of a Royal visit in difficult conditions. Congratulations and many thanks.
